Experience: I first came to the real estate field after a long career in retail sales.  After spending time as a buyer for a major department store, I owned and operated 7th Mountain Ski and Sports Shop in Manhattan Beach.  Both ventures required a lot of travel and time away from my two young children. Education: I graduated from Cal State Long Beach, then went on to obtain a broker's license from USC.  I completed graduate studies through UCLA's Anderson School of Management.  Education classes are basically how I keep up with the market.  In addition I have graduated from the Landmark Education Curriculum for Living. Profile: Real estate appealed to me as a field where I could have more control over my time, both personally and professionally.  What I like best about real estate is helping people meet their goals.  I am very active with tennis and skiing.  I am a member of the Vail Inter-Mountain Ski Team.  I see many benefits accruing from these sports activities, including discipline, endurance and extensive networking with other professionals.
